Voice of the Founder
I’m someone who has always thrived on exploring different worlds—whether through language, music, or culture. My journey with Japanese started out of pure curiosity, but over time, it became something much deeper. I studied under Nonaka Sensei, who played a huge role in shaping my understanding of the language, and I went on to earn my JLPT N2 certification, accredited by both the Japan Foundation and JEES.
But Japanese isn’t just about words for me—it’s about connection. It’s about understanding the nuances of a culture that values precision, respect, and artistry in everything from business etiquette to anime storytelling. That’s exactly why I founded Jafuneseland—to make learning Japanese more than just a classroom experience. I wanted to create a space where people, especially Gen Z learners, could pick up the language in a way that feels natural, engaging, and relevant to their lives.
Beyond Japanese, music has always been my soul’s language. Whether it’s performing or creating, music gives me the same sense of immersion that languages do—it’s a way of expressing what words sometimes can’t. That love for music also influences how I teach and create, bringing rhythm and creativity into the learning process.
At the end of the day, I believe that learning should be an experience, not a chore. Whether it’s through interactive workshops, real-world conversations, or guest lectures from Japanese professionals, I want Jafuneseland to be a place where people don’t just study Japanese—they live it.
